What is it?
A bounded sitemap and URL-discovery audit, not a full-domain crawl.
What does it check?
Finds sitemap declarations, parses sitemap indexes, and samples up to eight URLs for status, redirects, canonical, and indexability.
Why is it needed?
Search and retrieval systems need consistent paths to find canonical public content efficiently.
What does the output mean?
The score reflects sitemap availability and sampled URL health. Orphan candidates mean URLs were not linked from the submitted page, not proven site-wide orphans.
Example use case
Use it after a migration to catch sitemap URLs that redirect, return errors, or canonicalize elsewhere.
